About Us.

Hello! Our names are Robert and Morgan. Sailing the high-seas of the World Wide Web aboard the good ship Remlap, we write the software that make the whole world sing.

By Robert:

I live on the east-coast of England in the UK with my nine-year-old son (see pic on right). Whom, it is fair to say, my life totally revolves around. He's a very lively kid; always buzzing with new ideas and he has an imagination to die for. I really hope he retains that creativity into adulthood as I think it will serve him well.

Being a dad to an nine-year-old has got to be one of the most wonderful things life has to offer. Having been his primary carer since he was a baby, so much has changed. The endless shitty-nappies (diapers)...the two years I spent with puke permanantly displayed on my left shoulder. The first word, the first tooth, the first steps...oh there has been so much and it all happened in the blink of an eye and then, it's gone and can never return. So we get to seven and suddenly we glimpse the man that boy will be. Yes, this is a really good time. But just like the shitty nappies, life marches onwards and I can already see change on the horizon. While it will bring new joys, firsts and challenges, there is part of me which will be very sad to say farewell to this stage of his development.

I enjoy cooking and take the whole issue of food, particularly that which I give to my kid. I'm a firm believer in home cooking with lots of fresh vegetables.

I love Italian food and cooking it, is as much a part of the evening as then sitting down together eating it. Occasionally, when my son is away at his mum's, I like to get together with some friends for a kind of 'dude-only' night. We cook the meal together (yeah, I know this is all sounding rather Goodfellaish, except we don't have guns and I don't mind if I "amuse" my friends). Of course there's plenty of beer (Peroni preferred) consumed during the cooking process, along with several bottles of Italian red.

Cooking is quite a macho thing and so when you put six guys in a kitchen with access to garlic and chilies, the result can only be a man-sized over-dose of both items.

And so what if it ends up so hot it dissolves ones taste-buds from 50 paces. The company, the conversation, the laughter and the food are a priceless combination. It's a good night.

By Morgan:

I am nine-years old and I worked on Clickster and ESP : Enhanced ShoutCast Player with my dad (Robert). I go to a primary school in England and I like anything to do with computers. I also enjoy skateboarding and like hanging out at my local skate-park.
