KnowledgeBASE Browser 1.1 (FREEWARE) A powerful Read-Only browser for KnowledgeBASE databases.
Specifically designed for use on networks where full editing privileges are either not needed or not desirable. KnowlegdeBASE Browser comes with the powerful filtering and searching features found in its big-sister product, Remlap KnowledgeBASE, but does not allow editing or deleting of any data. This could be particularly useful in schools and universities where the risk of having data defaced or deleted may be high. KnowledgeBASE Browser can be employed together with Remlap KnowledgeBASE on the same network and fully supports multi-user access. With support for Microsoft TrueVoice Technologies, users who have difficulty reading on-screen text, can opt to have the information read to them. In addition to any hyperlinks employed by the author within a document, users of KnowledgeBASE Browser can easily obtain further information about ANY word, place or name from Answers.com, simply by Right-Clicking on the word. KnowledgeBASE Browser can also be used as a reader for databases distributed on cd-rom etc (please remember though to include the help files) and as KB Browser does not require installation, it can be run from any location on a pc including, cd-rom and data-stick.
